We grow a multitude of great products here at Buffalo Trail Orchard. Apples, peaches, blueberries, and pumpkins just to name a few. The two tables below show the times of each year that you’ll be able to find things fresh out at the farm!
Season – Berries, Peaches, Plums, and Pumpkins

Season – Apple varieties

Apples
It all started with the apples. As you can see from the table above, we have 16 varieties of delicious apples today with 4 additional varieties on the way in a few years. Apples start to ripen is late June and finish the season in early November. But, we’ll have apples for months after that, thanks to a walk in cooler that keeps them extra fresh!
Blueberries
We have several varieties of blueberries that begin to ripen in July. The supply is plentiful through the month of July into early August.
Blackberries
Come out and pick some blackberries! They usually ripen in mid June and are plentiful through early July. Or, come see us at the Market Square Farmers’ Market or Boone Street Market, where we’ll have them available by the pint and quart!
Peaches
Peaches! We have several varieties including two white peaches. They begin to ripen in mid July and are available through the end of August. Give us a call to check on availability! We’ll see you out at the farm!
Plums
We grow Stanley prune plums at Buffalo Trail Orchard! They’re delicious, and they generally ripen mid to late September. Give us a call to check and see if they’re in yet, and we’ll hopefully see you out at the farm soon!
Pumpkins
Oh yeah! We plant many varieties of pumpkins and squash in July so that they’re ready to pick and enjoy by mid September. Yum…. candy roasters, old time pie pumpkins, butternuts, acorn, blue hubbard, spaghetti, kabocha, and other varieties yet to be determined.
